I'm a new member,I did my nat/service from 53 to 55 then got recalled for four months for the Suez crisis.
I did eighteen months at Fontainebleau, France from Feb 54 till Aug 55,
I've missplaced my discharge papers but I think my mob was called 310 Medium Squadron.
would love to hear from anyone who was there.

Found the site whilst browsing and I must say what a good read it proved to be. I was a member of the Corps from 1978 to 1991 when I transferred to the APTC. Now Director of Football at a 6th form College in Rotherham and heavily involved in Coach education programmes. I have a number of photos from 2 ADSR in Bunde which I will attempt to load onto the site (unless someone wants to take on this seemingly (to me) highly technical task.

Thanks Brian for your help with the Astrid trophy. As I said it was presented by Dennis Parkinson after the death of his wife Astrid hence the name, Dennis is unaware that I have tried to find out its location. I believe it was presented to the most improved signal person. The trophy was presented in Germany, but I was told that it had been brought to the UK and Catterick, but when I contacted them they did not sem to know anything about it. So if anyone either was presented with it, or remebers having to clean it in a mess somewhere please help. cheers :(

Accidental 'browsing' and discovery of this site. Wonderful !! Saw a "Mike Moore", ex Radio Tech in the Guest Book. If he was in 1 Armd Div in the late 70's, was a Corps Hockey player, sometimes played Badminton..'Shock'..etc..!!, then it would really be great to be in touch again with Mike.
