I really do like this site if you have a good look around it will bring back many happy memories (it did for me) especially from the sixties.

Goldbeach - 60 years on

Formed in November 2005 from those who organised the Gold Beach Living History Events - re-enactments of some of the landings during D-Day 1945 - the Gold Beach Living History Group is now formally constituted as a separate organisation.

In addition to organising events the also Group attends others, representing military support units at those events. The Group's sections are: Command, Administration, Signals, Medical and Intelligence.

The Group deploys the only Bedford QLR wireless truck restored to 1944 SWS standard. It also displays other vehicles when they are available. Members (including ATS - ladies take note) display a wide range of period and reproduction uniforms, weapons and equipment.

Looking for IT work

I'm an ex Systems Tech who left the Corps in 95.

LinkedIn is a professional networking site. It's grown a lot recently and I liken it to "Facebook for grown ups". I now have approaching 100 members and hope that this will continue to grow; primarily it appeals to mid and senior techies and managers.
