Then to 30 Sigs (BLANDFORD) MT TROOP, 644 (UNFICYP) till June 76, then 30 again November 254 (UNFICYP) to March. 30 again till December 78 then bloody 254 again, till July 79, fed up bought out,,,,,3 UN tours 30 Sigs again, fed up anybody remember me??? Have just replied direct to his email addres - Adrian Williams (Taffy), who mentioned that he hadn't come across anyone who had served in Tel el Kebir, Egypt. I did - 1955 and servde as a young Sgt with 51 Lorried Inf Bde Signal Tp. The OC was Capt Norman Gallyer and the 2i/c was 2lt Michie. 100) Duane "Smudge" Smith  Location: Stevenage	Friday, 9 January 2004 07:44 What a website, well done very interesting to read through it all. I was in 7 Sigs from 85 to 89, then 19 Inf bde hq and sig sqn from 89 to 92 then moved up to catterick when they became 19 Mech bde hq and sig sqn and stayed there until 96, then i moved to the signals platoon in warminster as part of the infantry training centre until 99 when i left, i am now working as a senior communications manager for a large japanese computer firm. If anyone know me then please get in contact as I have met up with a couple guys from the 7 sigs days.
