Friday, 22 November 2024 10:00 I purchased a side cap in 1967 which has blue piping around the side edges. Recently I saw a photograph of a signalman who was employed at Bletchley Park in WW2 wearing a side cap. This cap had the old type cap badge on it but strangely had blue piping across the front edge of the raised area. Any ideas why there were different designs or if the front blue piping signified anything special.? Thank you.
