Stay strong Brian. My wife Mavis has recovered from two bouts of cancer and is now in full remission. Hope all goes well for you.

Hi Len,
Thank you for that. I wish both you and Mavis all the very best for the future. And will include Mavis in my prayers.
Just to say I started off with stomach cancer back in 2010. I had 40% of my stomach removed. I got the all clear for that in Jan 2016. Then in March 2016 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and in May told that it had now gone into the bones (metastatic cancer). Then in December 2017 I was told that I had small-cell lung cancer, which is what has returned now.
The prostate cancer is at the moment being held in check with hormone treatment but is not curable.
Small-cell lung cancer is not curable either: it can be held in check for short periods (up to about a year with chemo) then you have to have another type of chemo to hold it back again, but at the moment I am not sure how many more tries they get.
So I do know that mine are both terminal, but then how long is a bit of string?
