For Ian Newson, msge 3287.
I was one of the skivers of 3 GHQ Sigs, and Albuhera camp. My residence at the time was tent F11. I was in one of the Operating Watches, although I cannot remember which one. I only discovered this excellent site two days ago, and so far have located about 150 photos relating to my time there, which I will submit in due course. Afterwards I worked with 4 people from the camp, until I retired.

I believe my grandfather at some point during the Second World War, served in Phantom. He talked about sharing a desk with David Niven. Is there anyway of establishing if he did indeed serve in Phantom?
His name was David George Berry. He was a Lt Col be the end of the war but was an NCO at the beginning and my other searches can only find records of his later service (post D-Day).

I think my father's number was 22525328 S/Sgt Taylor, James William, who died in 1999 after his personal battle with cancer. I am looking to find anyone who ever came into contact with my father during his 27 year tenure.
He was stationed at Catterick Garrison around the 1950s. He was in the recruiting office in Preston in the 50s; Harrogate Apprentice College as a drill instructer early 60s (his commandant was a Col North); Lippstadt, Germany, mid 60s; Singapore late 60s when he retired. I still have his Seiko perpetual watch which was presented to him by the PM Mess on his retirement in 1967 in Singapore.
I would love to hear from anyone who knew my father before time runs out!!!

Looking for Jim Wright, who I was stationed with in Hong Kong in 1974/75. I believe he was in Krefeld before Hong Kong. He is originally from Glasgow, as am I.
We lived in San Po Kong together with another Siggy, Taffy Ford.
It would be good to get in touch with either of them.
