I served in the Corps from Oct. 1962 to April 1972. My units were 224 Sig. Sqn. (1963). 225 Sig. Sqn. (1963 to 1967). 9th Signal Regt. (1967 to 1970). 30th Signal Regt. (1970 to 1972). I look forward to hearing from anyone who remembers me from those great days. I am particularly interested in contacting Phil Willicott an Aussie who seems to have disappeared off the face of this Earth. Congrats. to the webmaster and assistants of this site for doing a great job.

I am trying to trace my fathers' war time service between 1943 - 1947. He servied in 60 DR Squad ‘R’ Signal Section in 1943 (Motorbike ‘Royal Enfield’ No C4608704) and later in 152 DR Signal Section – B.L.A.
Any information relating to his attachments would be of interest

I wonder if anyone can help. My father, Michael Joseph Daly,(Now sadly departed) served in the signals during WW2 and I am very interested to find anyone who knew him. Unfortunately I have been left no records, all I know is that he was in the signals, his unit arrived in Normandy about 10 days after D-Day and spent time later in the war in Brussels. He was 21 in 1944 and would have come from East London -Barkingside/Ilford? Very greatful for any info or links.

Hi John, I have taken the Liberty of putting your request onto the yahoo royal-signals discussion group, and will also copy it into the next edition of the Newsletter. Maybe we will find someone who can help...

Regards and best wishes, Petra
