I am trying to trace my fathers' war time service between 1943 - 1947. He servied in 60 DR Squad ‘R’ Signal Section in 1943 (Motorbike ‘Royal Enfield’ No C4608704) and later in 152 DR Signal Section – B.L.A.
Any information relating to his attachments would be of interest

I wonder if anyone can help. My father, Michael Joseph Daly,(Now sadly departed) served in the signals during WW2 and I am very interested to find anyone who knew him. Unfortunately I have been left no records, all I know is that he was in the signals, his unit arrived in Normandy about 10 days after D-Day and spent time later in the war in Brussels. He was 21 in 1944 and would have come from East London -Barkingside/Ilford? Very greatful for any info or links.

Hi John, I have taken the Liberty of putting your request onto the yahoo royal-signals discussion group, and will also copy it into the next edition of the Newsletter. Maybe we will find someone who can help...

Great site - well done!
Anyone remember my name from 13 Sigs, Langeleben, Winchester, Tangmere....
I was at Langeleben just before they bulldozed the site clean, took many pictures and will send them to anyone interested.
Retired this year, found a nice location 4,300 feet up the Rocky Mountains, probably the closest I will get to heaven! ;)
