Association of Harrogate Apprentices Web Site

By popular request The Association of Harrogate Apprentices (AOHA) has been re-established as an Affiliated Branch of the Royal Signals Association (RSA). The original AOHA was established in Harrogate shortly after the Army Apprentices' School was formed in 1947.

Unfortunately it folded in the late 60's for no apparent reason. It seems that there was a gap in the Secretarial post and the responsibility was never handed on.

Considerable interest in re-establishing the AOHA was sparked off by the Final Reunion which was held in Uniacke Barracks over the weekend of 2/3 July 1994. Since then the AOHA has been re-established and there are currently over 500 listed members.
